Their flagship product, Arc/Info, which has been in development and constant enhancements for over 15 years is the de-facto standard for all GIS based systems in a large number of countries throughout the world.
ESRI also develops and markets a wide range of other GIS products such as: ArcGIS, Arc Server, Arc Engine and other tools, coupled with web services based on Service Oriented Architecture. Furthermore, recent tie-ups between Oracle and ESRI promises to provide the first open standard for a comprehensive corporate wide database server that can be the basis for client/server applications that integrate geographic as well as core MIS data in a seamless, coherent and efficient manner.
